EDMOND —
Charles and Kathy Bullock of Arcadia, Okla., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a return trip to Santa Fe, N.M., where they spent their honeymoon on June 16, 1961. They were married at St. John’s United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, N.M. The couple moved to Oklahoma City in 1967 and have since lived in the Oklahoma City, Yukon and Edmond areas. They currently live on their 25 acre farm near Arcadia.
Charles worked in the HVAC business prior to working for the USGS, Water Resource Division in Oklahoma City, from where he retired after 25 years. In 2001 he started the Coffee Creek Christmas Tree Farm, located north and east of Arcadia.
Kathy spent many years working as a bookkeeper and executive secretary. She is currently the administrative assistant at Tri-City Youth and Family Center, and still enjoys working part time.
The Bullocks enjoy spending time with their family and friends and love to travel. They attend Crossings Community Church and can be found greeting church-goers at the North door entrance.
Their first daughter, Jennifer Wolf Black, lives in the Moore-Oklahoma City area. Their second daughter, Elise Weber and husband Matt and children live in Edmond.
Charles and Kathy have six grandchildren: Jeff and Rusty Wolf, Lucas and C.J. Weber, Samantha Leissner and Hallie Black.
The immediate family celebrated the couple’s anniversary June 18 with a dinner party at their favorite Mexican restaurant.
