EDMOND —
Friends and family gathered Friday June 3, 2011 for a surprise party for Dr. Brian and Jane Levy in celebration of the couple’s 30th wedding anniversary. The Mexican-themed, poolside party was hosted at the Edmond home of Dr. Michael and Reba John.
After the buffet, the first toast was made by the couple’s second son, Jeffrey Levy, a freshman at the University of Oklahoma. The couple’s daughter Allison, a graduate of Oklahoma Christian School and a member of the incoming freshman class at Trinity, also attended the surprise gathering.
The couple’s oldest son, a member of the Oklahoma National Guard, is currently at Ft. Shelby in Louisiana and will soon deploy to Afghanistan.
Longtime friends in attendance included Brian’s college roommate, fellow medical school graduates, Jane’s nursing friends from St. Anthony’s Hospital and other friends from Wichita, Kan., Fort Worth, Texas, and Enid, Norman and Tulsa, Okla. the local metro area.
