EDMOND —
Bob and Karen Harmon of Edmond, Okla. will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Saturday, May 7, 2011, from 2 - 4 p.m. at Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond. The milestone celebration will be hosted by their children.
Robert (Bob) L. Harmon and Karen Sue Taylor were married May 6, 1961 at the Edmond Church of Christ, also known as the 4th & Boulevard Church of Christ. They met while attending Oklahoma Christian College and have lived in Edmond since that time.
They have two children and four grandchildren: son Rob Harmon, his wife Jo, and their two children, Katelynn and Austin, of Katy, Texas; and their daughter Suzie, her husband Darrin, and their two children, Courtney and Ross, of Keller, Texas.
Bob is a certified public accountant and is the president of Paragon Production Company.
Karen retired as the director of placement for Oklahoma Christian University and also works at Paragon Production Company.
Bob and Karen are active members of the Memorial Road Church of Christ where Bob serves as an elder. They love to travel and spend time at Grand Lake in northeast Oklahoma.
