EDMOND —
Bo and Juanita Quillin of Edmond, Okla. will celebrate their 65th wedding anniversary on February 5, 2011 at the Memorial Road Church of Christ in Edmond.
Robert D. Quillin and Juanita Gambrel, formerly of Tulsa, were married February 5, 1946 in Ozark, Ark. They moved to Edmond in 1997.
They have two children and six grandchildren: son Mike Quillin and his wife and two sons reside in Walnut Creek, Calif., and their daughter Denise Easter and her husband and four sons live or have lived in Edmond.
Bo worked as a certified professional landman before retiring in 1993. His 40-year career included both domestic and international operations. The highlight of his career occurred in 1972 when his company and three others made a major oil discovery in the Aegean Sea, offshore Greece, near the isle of Thasos.
Juanita was employed by American Airlines in Tulsa for approximately ten years, and she was a private secretary for several years before retiring in 1994.
