EDMOND —
Greg and Darlene Anderson of Edmond, Okla. celebrated their 21st wedding anniversary June 17, 2010, with a family vacation at the lake.
Greg D. Anderson and Darlene Ettner were married June 17, 1989 in McAlester, Okla. The couple met at Oklahoma State University while in Freshman Follies together. Their relationship began with a solid friendship, and they shared several classes together while they both majored in Finance.
The couple has three children: Samantha, who will be a sophomore at Oklahoma State University, Dylan, who will be a junior at Edmond North High School, and Sydney who will begin 8th grade at Sequoyah Middle School.
Greg is self-employed and sells services to banks and mortgage lenders. Darlene has been a mortgage originator for Stillwater National Bank for 18 years.
Darlene notes that humor and laughter have been special ingredients in the recipe of their successful marriage. “The marriage hasn’t always been a bed of roses,” Darlene laughed, “But we make it work with faith, hard work, perseverance, and keeping a great sense of humor.”
