EDMOND —
John and Sandra Montgomery of Edmond, Okla., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Sunday, June 3, 2012, with a celebration hosted by their sons, John and Jason Montgomery.
John Andrews Montgomery and Sandra Theresa Patty were married June 4, 1962, in Vinita, Okla. Friends since they were seven years old, John and Sandra’s relationship later developed into a lifelong commitment to each other.
John is retired from Enro Shirts, and both John and Sandra consider themselves to be “professional grandparents.”
The couple have two sons, John and his wife Sheila of Broken Arrow, Okla. and Jason and his wife Christi of Edmond, Okla.
John and Sandra are the proud grandparents of Caleb, Hannah, Mary Grace and Rachel Montgomery of Broken Arrow, and Sierra, Camille and Quentin Montgomery of Edmond.
The couple has lived in Edmond since 1970.
