Central Middle School hosted its annual seventh-grade Victorian Tea Dec. 20 in the media center. Over 250 students participated in the event during three presentations as a culminating activity to the study of the play, "A Christmas Carol." Several students participated in the program as characters from the play, with Queen Victoria giving her annual greetings and Christmas toast. The queen invited participants to dine on tea, cookies, fruit, cupcakes, cake pops, and meat and cheese trays baked in the royal kitchen. The seventh-grade orchestra provided musical entertainment and two students — Mason Imboden and Alex Simpson — concluded the program with the singing of "The Twelve Days of Christmas."
