‘ANATOMY OF A BOYFRIEND’
by Daria Snadowsky
“Anatomy of a Boyfriend” reveals the agony and ecstasy of first love and every emotion in between. It is laugh-out-loud funny but also brutally honest in its depiction of love’s many “firsts.” “Anatomy of a Boyfriend” is the contemporary exploration of the intense emotional and physical experiences of a first serious relationship.
Dominique Baylor has it all figured out: she’s going to graduate from her small private school with top grades and then take Stanford Medical School by storm. But a massive wrench is thrown in her plans when she slips in a huge mud puddle and lands at the feet of Wesley Gershwin. As he flashes his winning smile and helps her up, Dominique is instantly hooked. Going on dates, holding hands and experiencing the rush of new love are fun. Now Dominique is about to get a crash course in love and everything that comes after. …
Snadowsky gives readers a complete dose of what other young adult authors only hint at in her hilariously candid and realistic story. “Anatomy of a Boyfriend” sets itself apart from the hoards of edgy young adult novels not only in its frankness, but also with the uniquely honest and cultivated voice of Dominique.

And then what will those mischievous bunnies get into?

Training to become a knight academic has been Quint’s dream, and he hopes that someday he will be able to fulfill a knight’s duty of chasing after storms. Stormchasing is the only way to find stormphrax — particles of lightning heavy enough to keep the floating city of Sanctaphrax from breaking free of its chains.
As the city of Sanctaphrax braces itself for the possible arrival of “The Great Storm,” tension and old feuds among the academics abound, and the squabbling brings potential disaster to the city. Although merely a knight-in-training, Quint knows that it is up to him and his academy friends to save Sanctaphrax before it is too late.
