Accordion extravaganza at the UCO Jazz Lab

The Oklahoma Accordion Club will present The Big Squeeze at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at the UCO Jazz Lab. The Oklahoma Accordion Club is an organization made up of people of all ages from across Oklahoma, from beginners to advanced players. The advanced performers will present a variety of selections of accordion music. The public will hear music of all levels, from classical to semi-classical to jazz and country western to folk music, rag-time to gospel and boogie-woogie and even some original pieces. The music also will represent a wide cross section of composers and even some local compositions. The evening is geared to entertain the entire family. The emcees for the event will be Dan Orza and Jackie Mashore. The guest performer for the evening will be Lou LeBrun, 76, who specializes in rag-time on accordion.
