Q: Why did you want to attend OSAI this year?
A: I knew this was a very advanced and respected music camp, and I was sure I could be greatly influenced by it.

Q: What do you hope to learn this year?
A: I really want to learn new techniques and music theory. This could be a great attribute to my skills.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the arts?
A: To perform. Performing is really a great and fun part about the arts. I love to influence the power of art to others through the music we play.

Q: As an artist, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: I see myself recording music with famous rock bands and being an active member of the Oklahoma Philharmonic.


Elizabeth Sholar, 16

Q: Why did you want to attend OSAI this year?
A: To study and further my skills in writing.

Q: What do you hope to learn this year?
A: More about the creative process of writing, as well as ways to avoid and overcome writer's block.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the arts?
A: Making people think.

Q: As an artist, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: Finishing college and working on my journalism and poetry.

Q: Why did you want to attend OSAI this year?
A: To learn from the top notch instructors and other students.

Q: What do you hope to learn this year?
A: I hope to increase my acting skills to better prepare me for college theatre auditions.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the arts?
A: Attending musical theatre productions.

Q: As an artist, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: Performing on Saturday Night Live.

Q: Why did you want to attend OSAI this year?
A: I wanted to attend OSAI this year because I felt it would be a great opportunity for me to enhance my capabilities as a filmmaker.

Q: What do you hope to learn this year?
A: I want to learn more techniques for all stages of video production, including pre-production, filming and post-production.

Q: What do you enjoy most about the arts?
A: It allows me to do many things that are outside the structured regimen of conventional education.

Q: As an artist, where do you see yourself in 10 years?
A: In 10 years I see myself working in the film industries trying to achieve my ultimate goal of becoming a producer and director.
