New Year, new book. Start 2013 off right with a new book from the annual Edmond Author’s Book Fair Jan. 26 from 1-4 p.m. at the Edmond Historical Society & Museum, 431 S. Boulevard. The museum plans to host over 40 local authors with book topics ranging from the mysterious to the hilarious. The book fair is a free public event and everyone is welcome.
In addition to having wonderful books, the fair will feature family friendly activities such as a children’s reading corner and bookmark making. All activities are free. Beverages and tasty treats will be provided at no cost.
Any author wanting to participate should contact Christine Gibson at 340-0078 ext. 104 or cgibson@edmondhistory. org before Jan. 18. Author registration fee is $10. Spots are limited and fill up fast. This is a wonderful opportunity for authors to share books with the local community.
