• The Norman Day Celebration will take place beginning at 4:30 p.m. at Reave’s Park. The free event includes kids’ activities, as well as live music, fireworks and more.

• The Seminole Chamber of Commerce will present its annual Fourth of July Festival beginning at 4 p.m. at Seminole Municipal Park. The event is free and will conclude with a fireworks display. For more information, visit seminoleokchamber.org.

• Shawnee Twin Lakes will present the Independence Day Boat Parade beginningat 5 p.m. Bring chairs and refreshments and enjoy the boat parade on the Shawnee Twin Lakes from Glen Collins Memorial Park or Isaac Walton Park. For more information, visit shawneetwinlakes.net.

• The Grand Casino Resort in Shawnee will present its annual Grand Firework Display beginning at 7 p.m. with food, games and live music. For more information, call 964-7263.

• The Oklahoma Railway Museum will offer 35- minute excursion train rides from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.  at 3400 N.E. Grand Blvd. in Oklahoma City. • Devon Energy will present the Bread & Butter Band in concert at 7:15 p.m. at the Band Shell on the Great Lawn at the Myriad Botanical Gardens as part of the Twilight Concert series. The event is free. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets, chairs, and picnics; however pets and glass containers are prohibited. • The UCO Jazz Lab Summer Band Camp will take place through July 12 at the UCO Jazz Lab for students ages 14 and older.
