The Academy of Contemporary Music at the University of Central Oklahoma will host a stage at the second annual Rock the Boat festival from 6 p.m. to midnight June 7. The stage will be set up outside of the ACM@UCO building at 25 S. Oklahoma Ave. in downtown Oklahoma City on the Bricktown Canal.
The ACM@UCO stage will feature a variety of music genres spanning from rock and pop to folk and Latin American. Featured ACM@UCO student bands include Jessi Herring at 6 p.m., Allyson Bold and The Italics at 7 p.m., Ash Bros at 8 p.m., Indigos at 9 p.m., Polar Pattern at 10 p.m., and The Argots at 11 p.m.
Downtown OKC, Inc., a not-for-profit organization that manages and markets the Business Improvement District in Oklahoma City, is the host and organizer of the Rock the Boat Festival. In addition to free family-friendly music entertainment, the festival will feature pop-up retail shops, free face painting and caricatures, food trucks and free water taxi tickets, courtesy of Downtown OKC Inc. All of the festivities will take place on the Bricktown canal starting at noon and wrapping up at midnight June 7.
