Price Tower is hosting “A Tale of Two Towers” dinner 50 floors atop the Devon Tower in Oklahoma City in the Vast Event Center on Nov. 19. Reception begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner at 7 p.m. featuring a fine dining buffet prepared by the chef from FLINT at the Colcord.
The featured speaker is Eric Lloyd Wright, the grandson of Frank Lloyd Wright. Eric Wright will inspire as to the significance of his grandfather’s influence in the field of architecture and more specifically, Price Tower soon to be a World Heritage site.
The evening also will include brief presentations from Price Tower and Devon Tower on the creative design of Oklahoma’s two premier towers. This dinner is an add-on event of the State of Creativity Forum in Oklahoma City Nov. 18-19.
“This upcoming World Heritage designation is significant to the increased tourism and economic development to Bartlesville and state of Oklahoma,” said Timothy Boruff, executive director. “To fully optimize this designation on a statewide presence is crucial; especially in Oklahoma City where our capital is located. Therefore, we are having this special event so we can engage appropriate crucial stakeholders about this exciting milestone in the Tower’s history.”
