College gospel choirs unite

Special to The Sun

OKLA. CITY — The choirs from Oklahoma City University, University of Central Oklahoma, and University of Oklahoma will unite for an awesome night of musical praise and worship titled “One Night with the King” at 6 p.m. Saturday. This event will be at the Bishop W. Angie Smith Chapel on the campus of Oklahoma City University and is free and open to the public.

Each year the gospel choirs from these schools normally present their own individual concerts for the fall school year. This concert features a combined choir of more than 40 students, musicians and special guests. Although the concert admission is free, there will be a donation offering accepted that will benefit the Mission Ministry of the Inner City Church, which is a regular community service project of Oklahoma City University’s Generation Blessed Gospel Choir.
