After 1 more day of rain, Oklahoma to be sunny

Parts of Oklahoma will have one more day of rain, in part courtesy of the remnants of Hurricane Ike, before sunny weather should return.

Most of the wind advisories and warnings and flash flood watches issued by the National Weather Service should expire by mid-Sunday morning. Sunday will be partly sunny with a chance of rain showers in far northeast and far east-central Oklahoma. Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s statewide.

Overnight lows will be cooler, dropping into the mid 40s in the Panhandle and the mid 50s in the southeast.

Sunny skies will prevail Monday, with highs in the mid 70s in the north to the lower 80s in the southwest. Tuesday will be mostly clear, with highs in the upper 70s in the east and the lower 80s in the Panhandle and southwest.

Skies will remain mostly clear Wednesday, with highs around 80 to the lower 80s statewide. Thursday will be mostly clear, with highs in the low to mid 80s across the state.
