EDMOND — Edmond Police issued a Code Red alert shortly after 10:30 p.m. Wednesday stating the department is seeking a missing juvenile named Eli. He is described as a white male, about 5 feet 6 inches and weighing about 180 pounds. He has short, curly black hair, the alert stated. Police said Eli was missing from the Swan Lake area near Kelly Avenue and just south of Danforth. The juvenile was last seen about 5:30 p.m. Wednesday wearing a white or gray shirt and black basketball shorts.

Public schools cancel Monday classes
Both Edmond and Deer Creek public schools announced this evening that they are canceling Monday classes due to continuing icy road conditions across the city.
Weather closing down school for Friday
All athletic events and activities have been canceled for Thursday afternoon and evening in both the Edmond and Deer Creek school districts, but it is too early to make the call on whether classes will meet Friday, said spokespersons for the two largest area school districts.
Personnel treat child for minor injuries at school
