A medical examiner’s office spokesman has released the formal findings in the murder-suicide discovered Monday in an Oak Tree-area home.
Police spokeswoman Jenny Monroe has identified Kenneth Frame, 55, and Pamela Frame, 64, as the residents discovered in the home at 5509 Fairway Drive in the Highlands addition, located near the Oak Tree Country Club golf course.
Wednesday morning, Medical Examiner’s Office spokeswoman Amy Elliott said Kenneth Frame died from a gunshot wound to the head consistent with a hand gun. Elliott said his manner of death was ruled as suicide.

At about 8:30 a.m. Monday, the Police Department received a call for a welfare check at the address, Monroe said in a previous report. Officers did come out and found a male and female both deceased inside the home.
The real estate website Zillow.com lists the home as a 3,033-square-foot house with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms on a 5,440-square-foot lot.
It was the first murder of 2014 recorded in Edmond.
