Authorities have identified the two residents in an apparent murder-suicide discovered Monday in an Oak Tree-area home.
Tuesday afternoon, Edmond Police Department spokeswoman Jenny Monroe identified Kenneth Frame, 55, and Pamela Frame, 64, as the residents discovered in the home at 5509 Fairway Drive in the Highlands addition, located near the Oak Tree Country Club golf course.
“There is no other new information the case as of this afternoon,” Monroe said.
Why it occurred is not yet known. Monroe said at this time the investigation still points toward a murder-suicide scenario.
Amy Elliott, spokeswoman for the state medical examiner’s office, said both decedents are being examined. Other information on their cases is pending, Elliott said.
At about 8:30 a.m. Monday, the Police Department received a call for a welfare check at the address, Monroe said in a previous report. Officers did come out and found a male and female both deceased inside the home.
The real estate website Zillow.com lists the home as a 3,033-square-foot house with three bedrooms and three and a half bathrooms on a 5,440-square-foot lot.
It was the first murder of 2014 recorded in Edmond.
