The Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants recently honored its 30-, 40- and 50-year members at the organization’s 91st annual members meeting on June 12 in Tulsa. Several Edmond CPAs were recognized for their years of dedication to the OSCPA and the accounting profession.
Fourteen Edmond residents were recognized for 30 years of membership and received certificates of appreciation and gold lapel pins.
Residents include: James R. Aycock Jr., a sole practitioner in Oklahoma City; Paul G. Brown, the principal/shareholder of Paul G. Brown PC in Oklahoma City; Michael C. Coffman, the president and CEO of Panhandle Oil and Gas Inc. in Oklahoma City; Richard A. Dimick, managing partner at Dimick Green Brown & Stark PC in Oklahoma City; Jane A, Hresko, an auditor at Steakley & Gilbert PC in Oklahoma City; Lloyd Lovely, the deputy executive director of the Metropolitan Library System in Oklahoma City; Kenneth D. Mills, the chief financial officer of Baptist Village Retirement; David G. Parker, the principal/shareholder of David Parker CPA PC in Oklahoma City; Charles E. Proffit, the chief financial officer of Standard Testing & Engineering Co. in Oklahoma City; Steve Ratliff, the principal/shareholder of Ratliff CPA Inc. in Edmond; Valerie M. Reeves, the director of rural finance at Integris Health Inc. in Oklahoma City; Stephen M. Roney, a controller at Bracken Operating LLC in Edmond; Douglas J. Stussi, the chief financial officer of Loves Travel Stops & Country Stores in Oklahoma City; and Bruce E. Teevan, a sole practitioner in Oklahoma City.
John M. Arledge, managing partner of John M. Arledge & Associates PC; Ray Copeland, chairman of the board at Copeland Hild & Associates PC; Jess L. Vanhooser, a consultant with Jess Vanhooser & Associates Inc. in Oklahoma City and retired accountants Gary E. Meunier and Richard D. Winezeler were recognized for 40 years of membership and received a certificate of appreciation and a gold lapel pin.
James P. Luton, staff manager at Luton & Co. PC in Oklahoma City and retired accountant Arthur L. Powell were recognized as 50-year members of the OSCPA and received certificates of appreciation, diamond-studded lapel pins and lifetime memberships waiving all future dues.
