A vote by Oklahoma City officials on a proposed new headquarters building for Devon Energy Co. could happen later this week.
Devon officials say they will present a redevelopment proposal for the new building on Wednesday morning to the city's Urban Renewal Authority, which could then vote on the proposal.
Company officials say the presentation will include details about the proposed building's interior and exterior design attributes, along with information about landscaping, streetscaping and enhancements to nearby public places.
Early estimates are that the building will contain at least 1 million square feet and stand at least 37 stories tall, which would make it the tallest building in Oklahoma City.
The estimated construction cost is more than $350 million.
