EDMOND —
Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity recently announced the addition of Christi Roney of Edmond as development officer.
As development officer, Roney’s responsibilities include expanding the donor base, refining the membership program and enhancing local corporate involvement.
Prior to joining Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity, Roney worked as the director of marketing for AMS Health Sciences Inc., which offers natural nutritional supplements and skincare products. She is an active board member and volunteer for the Edmond-based Veterans Families United Foundation and volunteer for LifeTroops.
“With over 15 years of hands-on marketing experience, Christi brings a unique skill set and understanding of network marketing and volunteer recruitment,” said Ann Felton Gilliland, chairman and CEO of Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity. “We are excited to welcome Christi to the team and look forward to gaining her expertise as we continue to provide affordable housing to deserving Oklahoma families.”
Roney graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler and has her bachelor’s degree in business administration-marketing.
