Neal McGee Homes Inc. to host School Supply Drive

Children of City Rescue Mission to benefit

Special to The Sun

EDMOND — From 1-5 p.m. Neal McGee Homes will be hosting a school supply drive and open house to benefit the children of City Rescue Mission. The event will take place at 2709 Mesquite Ln. in Edmond in the Iron Horse Ranch subdivision.

The public is invited to come tour the latest design from Neal McGee Homes and are encouraged to bring new school supplies.

To help encourage people to bring school supplies for the children of City Rescue Mission, Steve Daniels of Cornerstone Home Lending (NMLS 214032) has donated a $300 gift card towards the cause. A drawing will be held Monday and all individuals that have donated a new school supply will receive one entry. Additionally, in an effort to raise awareness of the event, Neal McGee Homes has agreed to donate $10 of school supplies to the City Rescue Mission for every new “like” they receive on their Facebook page (up to $2,000).

Supplies needed include backpacks (no wheels), Crayola crayons, Crayola markers, wide-ruled notepads, plastic binders, rulers, large pink erasers, loose-leaf notebook paper, three-ring binders, index cards, highlighters, No. 2 pencils, Kleenex, blunt scissors, plastic school boxes, as well as gift cards to either Walmart or Target. A full list of supplies that would make an immediate impact may be found at the City Rescue Missions website, http://www.cityrescue.org/give/donate-goods.
