EDMOND — The Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce will present its Annual Sporting Clays Tournament on Friday. Registration is now open for the 50-shot tournament at Silverleaf Shotgun Sports in Guthrie. Lunch will be provided at noon, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m.

“Each year the Edmond Chamber of Commerce organizes a Sporting Clays tournament that provides an afternoon of recreational shooting. Shooting sports continue to increase in popularity, and this event provides everyone an opportunity to participate regardless of skill or experience. Last year’s tournament was a big success and it looks like it will be a great tournament again this year with lots of good food, great prizes and drawings. We hope to see you there,” said Kenny Leonard, director of Customer Service at MIDCON Data Service and the Edmond Chamber’s Sporting Clays Tournament chairman.

A bronze team of four is $500, which includes shooting fee, ammo, safety glasses, earplugs and lunch. It also includes a station sponsor sign, raffle tickets and feature in event promotion.
