Public relations firm hires former News 9 journalist

EDMOND — After spending countless hours covering breaking news, former television reporter Jacqueline Sit, of Edmond, is taking her journalism skills to serve as account executive for Oklahoma-based Candor Public Relations.

Sit is a two-time Emmy-nominated and award-winning broadcast journalist with a decade of communications experience. She previously reported for News 9 in Oklahoma City and for stations in Midland, Texas, and Portland, Ore.

A graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City’s LOYAL V, Sit is a member of The Association for Women in Communications and Public Relations Society of America. She was recognized as Asian American of the year in 2010 by the Asia Society of Oklahoma for her community service contributions. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications cum laude from California State University, Fullerton.
