Edmond Chamber luncheon presents companies impacting local economy

Special to The Sun

EDMOND — Steve Goo of Boeing and Michael Ming of GE will address the Edmond business community at the Edmond Chamber of Commerce Membership Luncheon on Thursday. Each speaker will discuss their respective company’s economic impact on the Edmond Area. The luncheon will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Oak Tree Country Club.

Goo is vice president of Aircraft Modernization & Sustainment for Global Services & Support and Senior Site Executive of the Boeing Oklahoma City site. Ming serves as General Manager of General Electric’s Global Research Oil & Gas Technology Center in Oklahoma City. GE announced in April that Oklahoma City would be home to the company’s ninth global research center. Both speakers will discuss the effect their expansions will have on the local economy.

This luncheon, presented by AT&T with Tinker Federal Credit Union as the Gold Sponsor, costs $25 for members and $30 for non-members. Make reservations online at or by calling 341-2808. The Chamber’s Membership Luncheons are open to Chamber members and their guests. For information about the Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce, visit its website at
