Special to The Sun
OKLA. CITY —
The monthly OKC Women’s Business Breakfast will be Oct. 3 from 8:15-10 a.m. at Kamp’s 1910 Café, 10 N.E. 10th St., Oklahoma City. Attendance is free at this business-building event, but registration is requested and can be made online at www.reiwbc.org.
A goal of the morning is effective networking, which opens the door of opportunity to new business while allowing businesswomen to build upon the connections they currently have.
This breakfast meeting is the place to develop partnerships and exchange contact information with other business owners. Participants also have the opportunity to discover valuable resources available for women entrepreneurs.
“Building effective business relationships can be one of your best marketing strategies,” said Jennifer Edwards, coordinator, REI Women’s Business Center. “Be sure to bring your business cards, because the time we offer for networking provides an ideal framework for creating new partnerships.”
Event partners are Pioneer Library System, State Chamber of OK and REI Women’s Business Center, funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration.
For more information, contact Jennifer Edwards at 319-8190. Also visit www.reiwbc.org and facebook.com/REIWBC for information about REI Women’s Business Center or a calendar of upcoming training workshops.
