My Small Wonders Child Care and Development Center, 733 Village Parkway, is undergoing a facility expansion. The project lead by Josh Moore at Turner and Company will add 6,930-square-feet to the existing 8,787-square-foot facility. Scott Werner, officer of My Small Wonders Inc., said the addition will add nine new classrooms taking the center’s license from 119 enrolled children to 230 enrollees at completion.
The expansion also includes a third playground area, a 1,250-square-foot indoor play space and a concrete reinforced emergency zone room in case of severe weather.
The new phase of the building is scheduled to open in the spring.
