OKLAHOMA CITY —
The Savvy Bridal Fair is scheduled for 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday in the Garvey Center Conservatory at Oklahoma Christian University. Admission is free and the public is invited.
Lindy Adams of The Savvy Bride OKC and Aubrie Ross of Aubrie Ross Weddings in Edmond, are co-sponsoring the event.
Thirty-two vendors including Edmond institutions Madeline’s Flowers and Inspirations Tea Room/Two Hearts Inn will be available for fair-goers. Many other Edmond residents are vendors including photographers, counselors, Realtors, bakers, facial care specialists, DJs and others.
The vendors will cater to a wide variety of interest groups, but brides, grooms and mothers of the bride will have special name tags and receive special attention at the event.
Also featured will be prizes, giveaways, cake and goodie samples, live music, a coffee bar and three bridal fashion shows with gowns from The Savvy Bride OKC, which carries pristine, pre-owned wedding gowns.
The fashion shows will be at noon, 1 p.m. and 2 p.m., and each will showcase different gowns modeled by OC students. Brides who try on gowns from The Savvy Bride OKC will receive a 30 percent discount on a gown purchase at the fair or in the future.
