EDMOND — The University of Central Oklahoma will present its 2014 Spring Career and Internship Fair from noon to 3:30 p.m. Feb. 5 in the Nigh University Center ballrooms on Central’s campus.

Businesses and organizations interested in reserving booth space should register online at www.hirebronchos.com or by contacting UCO Career Services by 5 p.m. Feb. 3.

More than 75 businesses, nonprofits and city and state agencies, like Cole and Reed, P.C., Hilti Inc., the Oklahoma City Police Department, the Oklahoma City Boathouse Foundation, Love’s Travel Stops and Country Stores and the Oklahoma Department of Human Services, are registered for the fair. Each will provide attendees with information about career and internship opportunities within their organizations.

“Central’s career fair is an ideal chance to network with employers from Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas. A variety of industries are represented and all are excited to recruit the kind of applicant we have here at UCO,” said Stephanie Scott, coordinator of internships in Central’s Office of Career Services.

Professional attire is required and attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of their résumé. The event is free and open to the public.
