OKLA. CITY —
First Fidelity Bank, a locally owned full-service community bank, has launched a mobile application that allows business and personal banking clients to make deposits using their smartphones. The bank is the only Oklahoma-owned bank and one of a handful of banks nationwide to launch a mobile deposit app.
“At First Fidelity Bank, we pride ourselves on being at the forefront of banking technology, and our mobile deposit app is no exception,” said Suzanne Symcox, executive vice president at FFB. “We want our clients to have all the conveniences that modern banking innovations allow while still benefiting from the client-focused experience that a family owned community bank offers. This secure, easy-to-use app saves our clients time and money that would otherwise be spent visiting bank locations to make deposits.”
Clients can download the FFB Mobile Banking App on their iPhone or Android-powered smartphone. To use the app, clients take a photo of the front and back of the check, enter the dollar amount and deposit directly from their phone.
The bank conducted extensive testing on the app prior to making it available to clients on Nov. 15. Mobile deposits are processed the same way as in-person deposits are, and all information is stored on a safe and secure server.
