UCO Development Office add 3 staff members


EDMOND — The University of Central Oklahoma Development Office recently welcomed three new staff members, naming Reagan Hamlin as coordinator of public relations and marketing for the UCO Development Office, Melody Hansen as the development manager for the UCO Wellness Center and College of Mathematics and Sciences, and Judy Reyes-Henderson as development manager for the College of Business Administration and College of Education and Professional Studies.

Hamlin brings a diverse background in both marketing and communications to the UCO Development Office. Since 2002, she has worked in a variety of nonprofit and educational settings including Stillwater Domestic Violence, Oklahoma State University and most recently her role as project coordinator for the UCO College of Business Administration.

Hansen joins the UCO Development Office staff with established experience in the development arena. A UCO graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in theater, Hansen served at Citizens Bank in Edmond before returning to her alma mater as the annual giving and scholarship coordinator for the College of Arts, Media & Design.

Reyes-Henderson brings proven development expertise to the team from her role as the Oklahoma City WalkAmerica director and division director of the Oklahoma Central Division of the March of Dimes for the past four years. In this capacity, Reyes-Henderson managed fundraising efforts for the March of Dimes signature event WalkAmerica, now called March for Babies, as well as several other special events to help fund the March of Dimes local and national programs.

Reyes-Henderson, a UCO graduate with a bachelor’s in public relations, is starting her second year as a member of the Rotary 29 Foundation.

The UCO Development Office raises funds to support the mission and the goals of the university which includes scholarship support for students and development of relationships with alumni, friends, donors and the campus community.
