U-verse TV Is highest in every region where ranked

AT&T; Inc. announced that AT&T; U-verseSM TV ranks highest in customer satisfaction among residential television customers in all three regions where it was ranked, according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2008 Residential Television Service Provider Satisfaction Study. In the annual study of television service, customers cited AT&T; for exceptional performance and reliability, customer service, cost of service, billing and offerings and promotions.



Cox launches upstream PowerBoost

On Oct. 21, Cox Communications will increase Internet speeds for the fifth consecutive year and launch upstream PowerBoost to its Cox High Speed Internet Preferred and Premier customers. PowerBoost is a speed enhancement technology that gives a burst of speed when a customer downloads/uploads a large file like music, movies, graphics, games and more.

A vast majority of Cox High Speed Internet customers subscribe to the Preferred and Premier services and they now have even faster speeds and upstream PowerBoost at no additional cost.

The Internet speeds for Preferred customers will increase to 9 Mbps and 12 Mbps with PowerBoost. The Internet speeds for Premier customers will increase to 15 Mbps and 20 Mbps with PowerBoost.

With the launch of upstream PowerBoost, customers will be able to upload photographs, videos and movies even faster than before. Preferred customers will see an increase on uploading to 768 Kbps and up to 1 Mbps with PowerBoost and Premier customers will see an increase to 1.5 Mbps and up to 2 Mbps with PowerBoost.
