EDMOND — Local business leaders named 2010 chairs of Go Red for Women Luncheon
The Oklahoma City Division of the American Heart Association has named Jacque Fiegel and Darcie Henderson chairs for the 2010 Oklahoma City Go Red For Women Luncheon. Go Red for Women is the AHA’s national movement to educate women of their risk for heart disease and take action to reduce their risk. The 2010 Go Red for Women Luncheon will be May 14 in Oklahoma City. Coppermark Bank and Midwest Regional Medical Center are the signature sponsors for the luncheon.
“We can make small changes and everyday choices and improve our cardiovascular health; this is what we want Oklahomans to know,” said Fiegel, senior executive vice president and COO of Coppermark Bank. Fiegel was recently named one of the 25 Most Powerful Women in Banking and is president of the National Alumni Association at Oklahoma City University.
Darcie Henderson is senior vice president of cash management at Coppermark Bank and is a recent graduate of Leadership Oklahoma. Henderson has volunteered for the OKC Chamber’s Total Resource Development Campaign and served on Integris Foundation’s Young Philanthropists Executive Committee.
“Had it not been for attending this event and for the bank’s involvement, I would not be as aware and educated about women and heart disease” Henderson said. “We are losing 18 female Oklahomans each day, and that is a frightening statistic!”
