Stansberry inducted to Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame
EDMOND — Mark A. Stansberry of Edmond was inducted into the 2009 Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame onTuesday. Also inducted were Teresa Mullican and Joe Britton, both of Western Oklahoma.

The Western Oklahoma Historical Society’s 37th Annual Western Oklahoma Hall of Fame reception and dinner was in Elk City. It is a recognition of individuals for their contribution to the Heritage of Western Oklahoma.
Eisenhower, granddaughter of President Dwight Eisenhower and CEO/president of People to People International, based in Kansas City, Mo., and Mary Fern Carpenter, sister of Mark Stansberry and author, read the citation.
