Applebee’s prepares for Susan G. Komen for the Cure fundraiser kickoff

EDMOND — The Apple Gold Group, a franchisee of Applebee’s restaurants in North Carolina, South Carolina, Oklahoma and Arkansas, is proud to announce the launch of its fifth annual fundraising program for The Central and Western Oklahoma, Tulsa and Arkansas Affiliates of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. In support of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the fundraiser will run from Oct. 1-28  in all of the Apple Gold Group’s restaurants throughout Oklahoma and Arkansas.

Guests who dine at any of the Apple Gold Group’s 22 Applebee’s locations in Oklahoma and Arkansas will have the opportunity to donate a minimum of $1 to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. For their generosity, guests are able to personalize a pink paper ribbon and hang it prominently in the restaurant under one of two headers that read “In Memory Of” and “In Celebration and Support Of.” Local businesses are also encouraged to match funds donated during specific time periods of the fundraiser and will be recognized for their participation.
