Kyle Roush, president/CEO of The Focus Federal Credit Union, announced that the National Credit Union Administration has approved the request to expand the credit union’s membership. The credit union can now offer its products, services and other membership benefits to those who live, work, worship or attend school in the counties of Oklahoma, Canadian, Cleveland, Grady, Lincoln, Logan and McClain.
The credit union originally was formed in 1955 by employees of the OU Health Science Center facility in Oklahoma City. Today the credit union also serves the employees and families of more than 150 additional local organizations.
“We are extremely appreciative of our longtime partnerships with these organizations,” Roush said. “Our service philosophy will not change. Because of our new community charter, we will be able to offer more members of our community an alternative banking relationship by providing them with affordable credit union products and services.”
