EDMOND —
Mark and Kay Thomas of Edmond, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbie Suzanne Thomas, to Eric Jonathan Paul Sivertson, son of Eric and Nancy Sivertson of Tyler, Texas.
A 2003 graduate of Memorial High School, the bride-elect earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Social Studies Education from the University of Oklahoma. She is a land technician at Chesapeake Energy. Her mother is a homemaker and her father is a business development manager for Baker-Hughes Inteq.
The groom-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Land Management from Texas Tech. He is a landman at Chesapeake Energy. His mother is an elementary physical education teacher and his father is a high school English teacher.
An evening wedding is planned for Saturday, December 3, 2011 at Crown Heights United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City, Okla.
