EDMOND —
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Salter of Soperton, Ga. announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Deidra, to Clint Martin, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Martin of Edmond, Okla.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Doretha Hall and the late Mr. Herbert Hall of Soperton and Mr. Thurman Salter and the late Mrs. Blanche Salter of Adrian. She is a graduate of Treutlen High School and Georgia Southern University. She is currently employed as a first grade teacher in the Toombs County school system.
The groom to be is the grandson of Mrs. Stella Holland and the late Mr. Loyal Holland of Braman, Okla. and the late Mr. and Mrs. Bill Martin of Edmond. He is a graduate of Deer Creek High School in Edmond and the University of Oklahoma. He is currently employed as a professor at Georgia Southern University.
The wedding is planned for 2:30 p.m. May 26, 2012, at Johnson Chapel Church in Adrian, Georgia.
