EDMOND —
Hal and Maryjo Yocum of Edmond, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Holly Roselyn Yocum, to Galen Cole Abbott, son of Greg and Rebecca Abbott of Empire, Mich.
A 2003 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, the bride-elect earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Tulsa in 2007. She is a student of dental hygiene at the University of Oklahoma Health Science Center.
The groom-to-be is a 2002 graduate of Glen Lake Community High School in Maple City, Mich. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design at Northern Michigan University in Marquette, Mich. He is employed by Cox Communications.
The wedding is planned for July 27, 2012 at the Moon Palace Resort in Cancun, Mexico.
