EDMOND — Robert and Laura Gary of Edmond, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Kathryn Marie Gary, to Matthew Thomas Hollimon, also of Edmond.
A 2001 graduate of Deer Creek High School, the bride-to-be earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from the University of Oklahoma, and was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority. Kathryn is an academic advisor at University of Central Oklahoma and will complete her Masters degree in Education in Adult & Higher Education in December from the University of Oklahoma.
The groom-to-be is the son of Jeffrey and Marilyn Hollimon of Petal, Miss. A 1998 graduate of Petal High School, Matthew earned a Doctorate in Psychology from Auburn University. He is completing his fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology from the University of Oklahoma.
The wedding is planned for 6:30 pm Oct. 24, 2009 at Crossings Community Church.
