Ms. Tammy Cook of Shawnee, Okla. and Mr. and Mrs. Todd Kimrey of Bartlesville, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their daughter, Tara Nicole Kimrey, to Garrett Evans Thomas, son of Randy and Trish Thomas of Edmond, Okla.
A 2007 graduate of Wewoka High School, the bride-elect attained a Bachelor of Science degree in Design, Housing and Merchandising from Oklahoma State University. She is a sales associate with Anthropologie in Dallas, Texas. Tara is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cook, Mr. Don Kimrey and the late Mrs. Ruby Kimrey, all of Wewoka, Okla.
The groom-to-be is a 2007 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Oklahoma State University. He is an associate with I.S. Networld in Dallas, Texas. Garrett is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Wayland Martin of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Weta Thomas and the late Mr. Henry Thomas of Arcadia, Okla. and the late Mrs. Evelyn Thomas, of Edmond.
An evening wedding is planned for October 1, 2011 at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Cook of Shawnee.
