EDMOND — Charles Douglas and Nita Folger of Edmond, Okla. are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Bonnie Suzann Folger, to John Robert Stradal, also of Edmond.
The wedding is planned for 7 p.m. Oct. 24, 2009 at First Presbyterian Church of Edmond.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Edmond North High School and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from the University of Oklahoma. She is a fourth grade teacher at Cross Timbers Elementary School. Her mother is a retired English teacher, and her father is the associate dean for OU College of Medicine and chief medical officer for OU Physicians.
The groom-to-be is the son of Terry John and Theresa Stradal of Edmond. His mother is a retired medical transcriptionist, and his father is the president of RCB Bank of Nichols Hills.
A 2003 graduate of Edmond North High School, John attended the University of Oklahoma and is a landman for Kepco Oil & Gas Exploration in Oklahoma City.
