EDMOND — Pope - Best

The Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City will be the setting for the March 31, 2006, wedding of Lauren Danielle Pope and Andy Jason Best.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Karen Pope of Fountain Hills, Ariz., and Robert Pope of Oklahoma City.

A 2000 graduate of Putnam City High School, she attended Rose State College. She is now employed as a production analyst.

The groom-to-be is the son of Jill Best and David Best, both of Edmond.

A 1999 graduate of Edmond Memorial he attended Oklahoma State University-Oklahoma City. He is now a grocery manager.



Hartwig - Pyles

First Presbyterian Church in Edmond will be the 5 p.m. May 27, 2006, setting for the wedding of Amy Lynn Hartwig of Edmond and Nathan Thomas Pyles of Cushing.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Doug and Anita Hartwig of Edmond. Her mother is a homemaker and her father is a project manager for Benham Co.

A 2002 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, she attends Oklahoma State University and is set to graduate with honors with a major in marketing and a minor in accounting May 2006.

The groom-to-be is the son of Tracy and Doric Pyles of Cushing. His mother is a homemaker and his father is a physician.

A 2002 graduate of Cushing High School, he attended Oklahoma State University in Okmulgee for graphic design. He is now employed as a graphic designer with Saatchi & Saatchi X in Fayetteville, Ark.



King - Collins

Lori Lynn King and Stephen John Collins, both of Edmond, were married March 3, 2006, at Quail Springs Baptist Church.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Jerry and Cynthia King of Edmond and Karen King of Oklahoma City.

The groom is the son of Samuel and Connie Collins of Edmond.

Brandon Donaldson officiated.

The maid of honor was Christy Layton of Guthrie.

Bridesmaids were Kerri Lightner, Kathy Young and Ellany Collins, all of Oklahoma City, and Rachael Sallee of Guthrie.

The best man was Marcus Collins of Edmond.

Groomsmen were Lukus Collins and Andy Malone, both of Oklahoma City, and Dylan Raines and Hunter Goodman, both of Edmond.

Ushers were Christopher Collins and Caleb Collins, both of Edmond.

A reception took place at Quail Springs Baptist Church.

After a honeymoon to San Diego, Calif., the couple will reside in Edmond.

The bride is employed as a professional nanny. The groom is a professional musician and studio engineer.



Alexander - Massey



First Presbyterian Church of Edmond will be the setting for the 7 p.m. Aug. 12, 2006, wedding of Jaclyn (Jacey) Michelle Alexander and Cort T. Massey, both of Edmond.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Lynne Alexander of Edmond.

Her mother is a decorator and her father is a developer.

A 2002 graduate of Edmond North High School, she attends the Oklahoma State University- Oklahoma City for nursing school and is set to graduate in July 2006.

The groom-to-be is the son of Rex and Kathryn Massey of Edmond. His mother is a bookkeeper and his father is a contractor.

A 1997 graduate of Edmond Memorial High School, he graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in construction management.

He is currently employed as a contractor.



The Crawfords

Ray Crawford and Jane (McClendon) Crawford, both of Edmond, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary March 18, 2006, with a reception from 2-4 p.m. at the Oaktree Assembly of God. The couple�s daughter, Cindy Crawford, and daughter-in-law, Carrie Crawford, will host the event.

Ray and Jane were married March 20, 1956, in Nashville, Ark.

Ray is retired from the Air Force where he worked in computers for more than 20 years. His main hobby is restoring old cars. Jane is a homemaker and enjoys antiques, flower arranging and cooking.

The couple met when Ray was on leave in Nashville, Ark. and saw Jane walking down the street. He invited her to a party and eventually their romance grew.

One day while Ray was on his way back to Tinker Air Force Base, he had a terrible motorcycle accident, breaking his collar bone. So in love with Jane, he wrote her love letters from the hospital, developing their relationship more and more.

The couple trusted God who laid the foundation for their long and happy marriage.

Ray and Jane say the love they feel for each other has never changed and it grows more each day.

They have two children, Cindy Crawford and John Crawford, both of Edmond. They also have two grandchildren, Austin and Ashlie Crawford.
