Danny and Carey Head of Ponca City, Okla. and Charles and Terra Martin, Owasso, Okla., are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming marriage of their daughter Erika Elise Martin, to Cache Dallas Breedlove of Edmond.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Beverly Pirtle, Oklahoma City, and the late William N. Pirtle and the late Judith Frances Pirtle; Helen Head, Ponca City, and the late Bruce Edward “Bill” Head; Jimmy and Brenda Martin, Yukon; and Huston and Patricia Parkhurst, Arapaho.
Erika is a 2005 graduate of Ponca City High School. She graduated In 2009, summa cum laude, from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in zoology-biomedical sciences. She is a medical doctoral candidate, class of 2014, at University of Oklahoma College of Medicine, Oklahoma City. She also is employed with Head Country Food Products, Inc.
The prospective groom is the son of Jeremy and Eppie Bass, Clearwater, Fla., formerly of Edmond, and Freddie and Angela Breedlove, East Grand Forks, N.D. He is the grandson of Hazel Breedlove, Ada, and the late Fred Breedlove; Jerry and Jody Bass, North Little Rock, Ark.; and the late James and Theta McGinty.
Cache graduated Edmond Santa Fe High School in 2005 and signed a draft and follow agreement with the Pittsburg Pirates. He went on to play baseball at University of Arkansas-Fort Smith and Rose State College, Oklahoma City, before joining the staff of Chesapeake Energy. Cache is an information technology specialist in litigation support.
The couple plans to exchange wedding vows in a lakeside ceremony on Monkey Island, Grand Lake O’ the Cherokees.
