The Yard of the Week award goes to Kevin and Wendy Helton, 3108 Sawgrass Road, Fairfax Addition. Pictured is Wendy and their 11-year-old daughter, Sarah. Their Blue Atlas Cedars provide an interesting focal point to their colorful beds of red and white Impatiens, red and white Waxleaf begonias, assorted hostas, dwarf Fountain Grass and red Crape Myrtles. Their beds also contain a splendid Japanese Red Maple, Foster hollies, Nandina Domesticas, Crimson Pygmy Barberries, Magic Carpet Spireas, white Indian Hawthorns, Japanese Yews, Globe Blue Spruces and elephant ears.
This graceful yard was totally designed and maintained by Kevin and Wendy.
Yard of the Week is co-sponsored by Edmond Beautiful Inc., The Edmond Sun, Edmond Area Chamber of Commerce and the Home Depot.
