Quilt give-away feeds needy children

OKLA. CITY — The OKC Winter Quilt Show features antique quilt bed turnings and museum quilt exhibit Jan. 9-11, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at State Fair Park, Cox Pavilion, 3001 General Pershing Blvd., Oklahoma City. Price is $10 per day or $20 for a three-day pass.

Buckboard Quilts is giving away antique quilts dating from 1830s to 1960s, new “Children—Hope for Tomorrow” touring art quilt exhibit, 1905 Cookbooks and vintage kitchen textiles for tax deductible donations to the charity of your choice to feed needy children. Write your check to the charity and take the full tax deduction.

This Quilting/Sewing/Crafts Expos Show includes the largest vendor mall in the state of Oklahoma with seminars, workshops, make-it-take-it projects, demonstrations, a quilt contest and stage presentations.

Featured guest educators include nationally-acclaimed quilt artists Kathy McNeil, DeLoa Jones, Anne St. Clair, Connie Spurlock, Phyllis Vandergriff, Charlotte Hickman and quilt appraisals by Carol Elmore.
