Faircloud resident earns Yard of the Week honor

EDMOND — Karen Ownby, 1912 Faircloud Drive, Faircloud Addition, is the Yard of the Week winner. This large, pleasing yard set under a very large river birch tree, several October glory red maples and green ash trees provides the perfect setting for elegans hostas blooming, day lilies, red knock-out roses and elegant blue hydrangeas that are in full bloom. Her flower beds also contain youpon hollies, nandianas, leathleaf mahonias, Chinese hollies, pink Edward Goucher abelias, coreopsis, homestead verbeanas, purple palace coral belles. Purple creeping phlox, purple basil and hot pink crape myrtles add color to this peaceful yard.

Edmond Beautiful congratulates Ownby for making her yard so colorful and pleasing, which brings happiness to her friends and neighbors. She receives a $50 store credit from The Home Depot on Broadway and a six-month subscription to The Edmond Sun.
