Bryants win Yard of the Week

The Edmond Sun

EDMOND — The Yard of the Week award goes to Jeff and Julie Bryant, 304 E. 12th St. in the Boulevard Place Addition.

The eye-catching specimen blue deodard cedar provides an interesting focal point to this large, spacious yard. The orange, pink and red purslane, red and pink crape myrtles, homestead verbenas, crimson pygmy barberry, variegated euonymous, globe spruce, dwarf mondo grass, white Indian hawthorne, variegated lirope, red knockout roses and dwarf fountain grass provide a bed of dazzling color, texture and shape to this impressive yard.

The very large native oaks, pines, Caddo maples, burford hollies, a purple smoke tree, Japanese red maples and weeping deodard cedar provide a graceful design and woody atmosphere to this colorful yard. Their beds also contain red and white periwinkles, Mexican heather, blanket flowers, gergi salvia, gold dust acubas, red and white impatiens and colorful pots of coleus and white periwinkles.
