Legacy Bank Art Matters program features Petty

EDMOND — Legacy Bank in Spring Creek Plaza recently announced it will display art by local artist Ted Petty.

Petty is a former Marine and a retired aerospace professional and artist. He started out as a commercial artist with Boeing on the Apollo Saturn program. At the same time he started his pen and ink artistry doing art shows up and down the Florida east coast. Petty's travels have introduced him to a whole melange of animals and landscapes that have had an impact on his art. Besides pen and ink art, Petty is a published and award winning poet.

He currently lives in Edmond with his wife Susan of 44 years. They have two daughters and five grandchildren and attend Lifechurch.tv. For more on Petty’ s art, visit www.penzninks.com.
